I have bags of frozen black bananas in my freezer. On purpose.
One of these days I intend to make banana bread.

In Memory Of
One of Hubby's aunt's passed away a couple of days ago.
I didn't know her very well yet. She lived in Louisiana and I had only met her 3 times.
She was very kind and generous, and a truly nice person.
I'm sorry that I won't have the chance to get to know her better.

I find it of extreme interest and very unusual that Trey's Aunt Carol had experienced the strong emotions the Major Suillivan Ballou letter who was killed in the Battle of Bull Run has always brought forth in me and I wonder what her maiden name was. Sullivan Ballou's wife's name was Sara. To have a display of his letter which was so beautifully written indicates Aunt Carol was indeed a kind and caring person who recognized Sullivan's great faith in God and knew that love is what it is all about. Sullivan was your great great uncle. Sara & Jessi's Grandma Carol.
